A Partnership or Not?

In my understanding of the System Theory, an organization is composed of distinct parts that depend on one another for the successful functioning of the whole body.

Our workplaces adhere to the same concept. Employers and employees depend on each other in order to meet their individual objectives. At the end of the day, the employer wishes to gain profit from his investment while the employee wishes to be paid an amount that can pay his bills and improve his quality of life.

Then why does our Kenyan workplace system seem to be ailing?

Kenyan employers through their representative bodies are up in arms over the present undesirable nature of Kenyan employees. Employees are termed as “lacking in integrity”, having “poor work ethic”, being “unreliable and unscrupulous”.

Why are Kenyans whose work ethic is praised all over the world having trouble being reliable workers in their motherland?

What is the real problem here?
